"Recharging Batteries"

Today I got to sleep in, relax (sort of), and recharge the batteries. I got up about 10 and headed over to Jessica Ellens’ apartment because she had made pancakes. After a hearty breakfast, we jumped in my little Honda Civic, a.k.a “The White Phantom” or “Roxanne” (either is permissible) and headed to Animal Kingdom. It was nice today, a tad bit muggy, but nice. We headed inside to the ride Dinosaur. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been on that one. I forgot how freaky it is! Our expedition picture was hilarious. There I am, an almost 21 year old guy in the back seat with my ears plugged and a terrified look on my face, and right in front of me, sits a four year old girl having the time of her life. Needless to say, I felt a little ashamed. After that, we got a little snack and headed over to Finding Nemo the Musical. It was wonderful! I highly recommend it! Again, take that recommendation with a grain of salt—I also adore Dolly Parton. ☺ After that, we rode some water ride. I got off looking like I had peed myself, so that was fantastic. Then, I talked Jessica into riding Expedition Everest. It’s probably the greatest ride at Animal Kingdom! Though she doesn’t like roller coasters, she admitted after that she liked it.
We went out to the car, and over to Hollywood Studios. It started to rain once we got there so, we booked it back to the Toy Story Mania ride. But before jumping into line, Jessica had to see Prince Capsian—she’s a tad bit obsessed. ☺ Think me with Ariel, she’s worse. I know, I know, but I’m not exaggerating. After watching her drool on him (love ya Jessica), we headed over to the Toy Story Mania ride. It was great! (*cough* I won). We also checked out the American Idol show. Bianca brought the house down!
After that, we headed to Chick-Fil-A, got some dinner, and then made our way to Wal-Mart for a little grocery shopping. Jessica was quite the champ for hiking around town with me today. Once done, I dropped her off and made my way back to apartment to unpack. Overall, it was a fun but tiresome day. With that being said, I’m going to bed. Goodnight all!
