"Daytime Hours"

Today officially began our daytime hours for the stage show. Whereas normally I would have to be in at 6:45, I now had to be in by 3:15. Not too bad, right? Well, I forgot just how many employees Disney has. Their massive parking lot was completely full so I had to go park at Disney University across the street.
Today was so different. I could actually see the crowd for our first show. It was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. I normally don’t get too nervous in front of crowds but this was insane! People were shoulder to shoulder all the way up to Main Street. I thought I could hear my knees knocking together (even though I was only at the lip of the stage for about 30 seconds).
The show times are a little bizarre too. We have a show at 4:35, 7:15, 8:15, and 10:30. There’s a whole lot of break time in there! I found myself just getting so bored. Eventually I made my way down to costuming and browsed outfits (I may have even tried a couple on).
During our second show, I started thinking about something and became completely unaware of my surrounding. All the sudden I hear this loud stomping behind me. Crap! I had completely forgotten to march backwards so my partner is just standing behind me doing his thing trying to desperately get my attention before I personally become responsible for the downfall of an equity member.
The evening went surprisingly well. I got my last schedule of the internship and about starting screaming! I can’t believe that I’m almost done! I actually called my parents and started arranging our “travel home” plans. I never thought I be able to post that statement!
I’m so ready to see all my friends at home and at SAU! Until then, Happy Holidays (BAM!).
