"A Hard Night"

I got up this morning and headed into work because we were supposed to be filming the parade. However, due to the weather, I found out quickly enough that they were rescheduling it until tomorrow. Mike and I went out to get breakfast with a mutual friend of ours, Jonathan. It was a great time.
Now my goal was to come back to the apartment and get started on my paper I have due for my online class, but as I do with most things in life, I procrastinated and didn’t get anything done. I spent the afternoon napping and watching “The Grinch” (my all time favorite Christmas movie).
Around 7 I headed back into work for a double parade. It was freezing…and I loved it! I could actually see my breath! Tonight was a hard night though; it was just one of those things where everything seemed to be going wrong. I got a crappy schedule the next couple of weeks, I got yelled at for knocking too many lights off the float because I actually move around when I do the routine, and the light-hooker-upper-old man gave me a hard time about sitting in costume (I got a little snappy with him). I was ready to run out of the tunnel screaming, “I’m free!” But, I’m home now, and I only have to work a few hours tomorrow and then I get to spend the afternoon doing homework. Joy. Hopefully though, I can get it all wrapped up.
