Again, today was pretty similar to yesterday. I had to get up before any living creature and head into work. One new thing: I discovered today that for some odd reason I have become one of the klutziest people on the face of the earth. Look up “klutz” in the dictionary and I’ll be there under “examples.” In the show, I’ve got to wear these massive shoes; if that wasn’t bad enough, I’ve got to march with them on so as I’m sure you can image, those two don’t make for a great combination. I’ve got these equity dancers whirling and twirling and looking well, perfect, for lack of a better word, around me, and I go ahead and almost bite it during my solo right in front of the show director. If that wasn’t bad enough, I managed to trip over myself during every run, and every time I could hear my friends laughing uncontrollably in the background. That’s when you know you’re loved. ☺
After work, Jessica, and her roommate, Megan, and I headed to a local Salvation Army to get me an outfit for 80s day at work. I’ve got to say, I’m pretty stoked about it. It. looks. awesome. Not only that, but I found an awe-some t-shirt! After heading out of there, we ran through Taco Bell for dinner. Overall, it was a pretty good day, even though rehearsals kinda dragged on a little this morning.
