Well today I returned to my life as a spare, only this time, it was at Animal Kingdom. For some odd reason, I had an unusual amount of energy this morning so while waiting to warm up, I was running and doing flips onto the couches. I got some weird looks. I only ended up sparing for all of 5 minutes before being put at Oasis in one of the worst outfits known to man. Talk about being tested, right after I talk about being positive in my blog last night, I get put in the worst outfit ever! Oh the irony!
Once I had finished doing meet and greets, I headed back to the base where they offered me an early release. Being a lazy bum, I took it. So I got done about three hours early! I ran a few errands and then headed to the movie theater with a few friends. Overall, it was a great night!
This morning I read 1 John 3 and it talked about how sin should not be found in the life of a Christian. The passage says that a righteous man’s life should be characterized by doing right, and to contradict that, a sinner’s life will be characterized by sin (still with me? ☺). Now that’s not to say that a Christian won’t sin! I mean for goodness sake, none of us are perfect, but if a non-believer were to describe me to someone, he’d better not primarily think of some sinful trait in his description. There would be an issue there! As a Christian, when I sin, it should tear me up inside and fill me with remorse. How often does it actually do that? Not often, unfortunately. I need to be more concerned with starving myself of sinful habits and hating the sin that my heart seems to cling to. I want to despise it; after all, it’s what sent my God to the cross.
