"The Smiths!!!"

So this morning was the same as yesterday’s. That being the case, we’ll just pick up when I clocked in. I got into my basics (yes, I was sporting that black shorts, and gray shirt) and headed to the PC (parade center for you outsiders ☺) to clock in and begin rehearsal. We got the place all set up and ran through our routine numerous times. Then we took a brief break and headed out to the float to practice. After doing that for a while, we learned yet another routine for another part of the parade. While we were finishing that up, Tara, the parade manager, came in. She was there to grade our performance. The good news is all of us were approved. You are reading the thoughts of the newest member of SpectroMagic!!! YEAH!!!!!
After that, I headed back to the apartment for some lunch. Once I had eaten, I grabbed my bathing suit and threw it in my car because I was on m way to the Pop Century Resort—Josh, Christi, Nicco, Nolan, and Bella had arrived!!!! For those of you who don’t know, they are some of my best friends from home. Love them! We spent the day by the pool and wouldn’t you know it, I got burned. After lounging, we headed up to the room where we met our favorite newlyweds, Jack and Chelsea Sammons (that sounds kind different doesn’t it?). Anyway, they stopped by for a while. It was so great to get to see them! We spent about an hour with them, before we had to peace out for our dinner reservation at Ohana’s (the best Polynesian dinner ever).
After finishing up there, I headed home, and found out one of my best friends is coming down here with her family for Thanksgiving. Holla! Other than that, I spent the evening doing laundry because I’m out of underwear. Oh what a glamorous life I lead ☺.
